I'm professionally 4 years in Ivory Coast on the way. In my job I work with people who had suffered in 2002 to a large extent by the civil war. Working with these people led me to deal with the prevailing local political problems and do research about it. For decades, France's former West African colonies suffer great injustices caused by the careless act and the profit-oriented policy of France and by the African leaders themselves, which often represent only the interests of France. This destructive policy forces many people to live under miserable conditions and to suffer hunger and poverty.
