Working Holiday Visa for Young Swiss

A Working Holiday Visa is a residence permit, which allows travellers to undertake employment in the country issuing the visa for the purpose of supplementing their travel funds. For many young people, holding a working holiday visa enables them to experience living in a foreign country, without undergoing the usual costly expenses of finding work sponsorship in advance or going on expensive university exchange programmes. Usually it's restricted for a year and only for younger people.

We want a visa that enables us, young people of Switzerland, to have the same opportunities like most other countries in Europe. We want to support the younger part of our nation in gaining worldwide experience and social competence as well as better understanding of foreign nations. What we believe is important nowadays and is going to be part of our lives forever. 

In exchange we want to offer the same opportunities for young people of other nations. If necessary the amount of issued visas can be limited, so that Switzerland won't be at its limit of hosting foreign, young holiday workers.
