We are writing to inform you that due to the current political situation in the municipality of Riomaggiore, Italy, Hostel Cinque Terre in Manarola may be forced to close after the 2011 season. On July 23rd, the new mayor announced that the municipality has declared bankruptcy, and will begin selling its assets, including the hostel building . After 13 years of passion and hard work, we are not going to leave the hostel without a fight, and we’ll do everything in our power to keep our business open. Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated, and we will keep you updated on the situation.
A seguito della recente dichiarazione di dissesto finanziario del Comune di Riomaggiore. L'ostello e altre proprietà del Comune sono in vendita. Dopo 13 anni duro e appassionato lavoro, non siamo disposti a lasciare senza combattere e faremo tutto il possibile per tenere l'ostello aperto. Ogni aiuto che voi potrete darci sarà apprezzato. il "bollettino di guerra" verrà aggiornato ogni volta ci saranno novità. Speriamo di potervi accogliere con un sorriso anche il prossimo anno.
