~11 STOP HORRIFIC ANIMAL CRUELTY BY MCDONALDS

We, the undersigned wish to request that McDonalds Australia abide by the law by non-descrimination against peoples beliefs by providing a vegetarian alternative on their menu, like all other fast food chains around the country currently offer.

The 'vegie burger' was recently moved to the 'salads plus' menus and is sold as is, for a higher price than any other burger and with no availability of a meal deal. Numerous times I have requested a meal with a vegetarian alternative, only to be handed off to a manager who is likewise as inept at dealing with people's beliefs that do not involve animal suffering.

I have entered into graphic parlay with McDonalds main office in relation to this, only to have my requests and emails not properly read and have recieved the same vague response numerous times.

I hereby ask you to hear our request and stop penalising those amongst us who do not believe in the consumption of meat being a long-term viable option for the human race and thereby provide to us a vegetarian alternative on par with the prices and conditions of 'regular' options available.

I cannot stress the amount of ignorance I have faced when asking for a "vegetarian alternative" at numerous McDonalds branchs, to the point where I simply turn my car off in the drive-thru to discuss the matter further.

I do not see why instead of saying, "Could I have a McChicken meal, minus the chicken paddy, minus the mayonaise, plus a vegetarian paddy, plus a slice of tomato, plus a slice of beetroot, plus sweet chilli sauce, plus sour cream, please?" I cannot simply say, "Can I please have a vegetarian meal?"

McDonalds is wasting MY time, and I am wasting the drive-thru's time, the branch's time and the time of those waiting behind me simply because McDonalds insist on persecuting those who choose a different belief system to that of the upper management.
