Your signature on this petition will be used to submit a unified letter to the Prince William County Board of Supervisors, Bristow District Supervisor, Gainesville District Supervisor, Brentsville District Supervisor, School Board Administrators, and Park Authority, on behalf of the Gainesville Basketball Association (GBA) to address our frustration with the inadequate use of the public school gym facilities within our jurisdictions this 2008 GBA basketball season. The GBA organization and the GBA parents had to endure unannounced school closings, three to four teams (which consist of 8 to 10 players) sharing a court to practice for one hour, faulty basketball hoops, and etc.

Prince William County works very hard to promote no drugs, no alcohol, good behavior for our students. The best way to keep children out of trouble is to keep them centered on something more important. Sports Programs are the number one way, in my opinion
