In today's busy lifestyle, there are too few hours per day. 24 just isn't enough for society to match its fullest productivity. We need more.
This is a petition to the United States government and all United Nations to form a commission to lengthen days, to 26 or 27 hours.
I propose a commission and a fund which will be used to power giant rocket engines with large foundations planted in the earth and pointed west (so the rockets fire east). If we can get the funding to build enough of these rockets, we can slow down the earth's rotation and increase the length of the day.
