Hello fellow Clay fans. It has been brought to my attention that we have been cheated out of good tickets for concerts. I have just learned from a fellow fan that ticket brokers have been cheating us out of the tickets for Clay shows. The following is what was in the email conversation between my friend and a ticket broker...
Found this on a message board, this is how scalpers get tickets and look at the price, and that's EACH. And E-Bay is worse.
This is not in any way meant as a slight to the fanclub, but wanted to share a conversation I had with a ticket broker today, after I saw these tickets at their website only 2 hours after the "Fan Club Pre-Sale"

I was so angry, I called the broker and gave him a piece of my mind. I said forget about your conscience, obviously you don't have one, is this even legal!??! He flat out said NO, it is not, but as long as there is a demand, they will supply the goods.
He also said that there are approximately 1,000 ticket brokers on the internet, whose JOB it is to sign up for Fan Club sites and get into the presales just like any other fan, and that he is sure everyone of them have signed up to this Fan Club.
He said right now, Clay Aiken is THE HOTTEST TICKET and highest profile act out there Every broker out there wants his tickets!..........
I ask you now, is this right? Is it right that the brokers get first dibs on the excellent tickets when there are MILLIONS of fans out there that want them, but can't afford them at the outrageous prices that the brokers are selling them for. Please support this cause by signing this petition to stop ticket brokers getting these great seats and cheating the people in and out of this fan club.

I can't even afford face value half the time being disabled and living off of social security. Honestly if these ticket brokers didn't steal the seats, imagine how many more fans could go to a show? They disgust me.

Clay Aiken would have a fit if he knew his fans were being done this way. It's expensive enough as it is, even if you are fortunate enough to buy a ticket at a half way decent price. There is transportation costs as well. These jerks outa be shot. Well, m

I have been trying for a LONG time to get good seats to a Clay concert being it is the ONLY concert I ever go to. And I have NEVER gotten good seats. I have joined fan clubs and everything and yet I still get shorted. This years showes were VERY important

This practice should be outlawed. It's illegal to sell your ticket for way over face value, it's called scalping. Why is it OK for these brokers to do it? It's so wrong!
