A Call To End Urban Sprawl!

The world is consuming land at an unsustainable rate to use for urban sprawl and suburbs. This sprawl is causing negative physical health effects such as pollution from cars that travel long distances to work or anywhere else and increased obesity among children and adults due to the sedentary lives they lead in the car-oriented suburbs, negative psychological health effects including depression, among other things, negative social health effects such as isolation due to the extremely low density development and curving cul-de-sacs in the suburbs and negative economic effects such as lost productivity due to cars sitting on highways in congested traffic.

We call on the governments, international organizations and all people of the world to become aware of these grave concerns that risk the life of our sepcies itself and then call on all the previously mentioned groups to act by punishing promoters of this dangerous lifestyle and enact laws that prevent this type of future development that is degrading our planet.
