A push for linux developers to include support for SATA technology

Linux doesn't currently support SATA and native SATA technology. As SATA is becoming widespread this is going to create some issues. It may prevent people from moving to linux. People want to use their hardware to the specifications that they can be utilised. This petition is here to convince Linus Torvalds, and the linux kernel development team to support SATA technology. I for one and many others would be grateful for this implementation throughout all distributions of linux.
