We the undersigned request that Simon Rouse who plays Jack Meadows in The Bill should be given some recognition for his acting ability either the MBE or OBE.
Simon Rouse has played some great characters in different series over the years but yet again like both John Nettles and Michael Kitchen seems to be overlooked everytime it comes to award ceremonies. There are people who are given awards who have no talent whatsoever and poor Simon who is very talented never gets a nomination let alone win anything. Personally I think he should be given the OBE. I keep hoping that one day this fine actor will get the recognition he deserves.
Please consider what has being said in this petition because the person to whom it concerns has got real genuine talent.
