Addressing of gravel path in Grafton, Wisconsin.

We the Village residents of Grafton feel that the time has come to complete the blacktop paving of the walking/biking path that stretches from the Shady Ridge Ct. area, past Edgewater Golf Course to Cedar Creek Rd.

The path needs paving for many reasons.
The gravel is an inconvenience to all users of the
path because:
1) The path is soggy and full of puddles after rain. If you're riding a bike or pushing a stroller, you either get wet or get stuck.
2) Walking a dog is very messy and wet.
3) Gravel gets in the surrounding grass with regular use.
4) Weeds are difficult to control in the graveled path
5) The path does not melt the snow in winter, like the other half of the path that is blacktopped. It becomes icy and is dangerous to use.

I understand by signing this petition that I am 18 years of age or older and a Village of Grafton resident. I also agree with the above statements in reference to paving the path along Edgewater Golf Course.
