We, and many like minded individuals have a rather serious complaint to voice out to you concerning one of your shows, The Savage Nation. We understand that this your talk radio is dedicated to individuals who speak their mind of current events, but we believe there to be many extreme problems with this particular show. The main one being Michael Savages racism. Throughout his show, Savage is constantly bringing down Muslims and Arabs alike. Though he may believe some of these things to be true, much of the information he states is wrong, as well as prejudiced, and extremely insulting. For example, when referring to what might happen if Palestine becomes westernized he stated that they would be flipping camel burgers and making dung fries. Another example of his intense prejudice would be when he replied to a caller saying, So now youre going to tell me that all Muslims are peace- loving. These comments are thoroughly incorrect and completely unjustified. He is constantly demeaning Muslims and Arabs while feeding lies about their being over violent to his listeners. While I believe strongly in freedom of speech, I also believe that it is wrong of you to host a talk show that is so strongly racist and so deeply cruel, a show led by a man so caught up in his own (not to mention wrong) beliefs about Muslims and Arabs. This is why we, the undersigned, ask you to reconsider having Michael Savage a part of your News Talk program.
