Against Zoos

I think that zoos should no longer be allowed to keep animals hostage. They should be able to roam around natually. If you want to go and see these animals then go to the country that they happily live in. No matter how much zoos try, they will never be 'home' to them. They are in small areas when they are naturally used to roam around in very large areas. It is definately not saving any endangered animals, if anything killing them. They are not in their natural climate, habitat, and shelters. They do not eat what they usually eat. They get sick all the time because of the amount of stress that they go through, especially if they just came from another country. Did you know that most of them die because on their way to the zoos they are held in dark, cold, enclosed boxes. They also die do to stress, lack of water and starvation. Also, their family at home goes through stress. You honestly don't think that you are helping them do you? You are just making it worse. Just imagine that you are them. You would do something about it wouldn't you? They dont have a CHOICE. What if you never had a choice? Reconsider what you are doing. If you agree with me, do something about it or it will never change.
