American Idol Voting System Has To Change

By signing this petition, I agree that the American Idol voting system has to change. People should not be allowed to vote hundreds of times for a certain contestant. I am tired of seeing the more talented singers get voted out early because there are voters out there who have nothing better to do than to vote hundreds of times. This happened in season 1 when Tamyra Gray was voted out early and Nikki, who obviously isnt nearly as talented, advanced deep into the competition. It happened again this year with John Stevens, who should have been voted out weeks before he was, and now with Jasmine Trias who should have went home last night. THE VOTING SYSTEM HAS TO CHANGE. Either limit the number of votes per phone or let us vote for the person who we want out of the competition. If the voting system doesnt change, I will not watch the program any more.
