We, as loyal fans, believe that the time has come for a Special Edition BLU-RAY release of AMERICAN NINJA. Recently MGM has begun to release several Special Editions of films such as 'Mad Max" and "Return of the Living Dead", however this Action 80's classic has yet to be given the Special Edition treatment it deserves.
We would like to see the BLU-RAY disc feature an audio commentary with Sam Firstenberg and Michael Dudikoff. Also possibly containing a \"making of\" documentary, behind-the-scenes footage and outtakes. Including retrospective interviews from cast/crew members such as Mike Stone, Hanania Baer, Judie Aronson, Don Stewart, John Fujioka and Tadashi Yamashita. In addition a tribute featurette to the music of Michael Linn.
We believe that there is sufficient demand for an American Ninja Special Edition BLU-RAY, and it would be MGM's interests to release it. The film is a showcase of exotic locations, beautiful cinematography and superb music. It's worthy of a solid disc release and the art of cinema needs more great films like this to be given such treatment.

I know American Ninja has been shown on danish TV in HD , so it should no problem for MGM to release it.
