Illinois lawmakers have introduced a Bill 2349, called the Mortgage Rescue Fraud Act; if not amended threatens to kill a families hope to a second chance. Lawmakers have weighed their decisions heavily upon a Consumer Report that is one sided and at no time took into consideration the people who are actually going through this process.

We are seeking to AMEND Bill 2349 so that it not only protects the homeowners right to choose, but also protects the rights of legitimate foreclosure organizations alike.

For too long foreclosure survivors, real estate investors and legitimate foreclosure organizations have passively ignored charges leveled by consumer groups. We fully support fair and responsible legislation in regards to fraud but we do not support the restriction of choices lawmakers are proposing. The role of legislation is to inform, guide and educate consumers, not inhibit their choices.

Thousands of foreclosure survivors, real estate investors and legitimate foreclosure organizations are finally going to speak up and attest to the benefits of lease options and that is why we are seeking to AMEND bill 2349. We are fighting to protect their freedoms and the right to choose lease options as an alternative to loosing their homes.

991. Andrew Jh | My mission is to actually asssit people in not going into foreclosure rather give them alternative ways to save their home. The oweness lies on the mortgage professional & real estate agent not being advisors to their clients.
