Strawbridge Lake is a man-made lake in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. It stretches between a major rural highway (Route 38) and a residential street (Haines Drive). Many animals reside at the lake, ranging between ducks and geese to deer and groundhogs to blue herons and hawks. Numerous animals are killed each year by drivers that just wouldn't slow down. The reason most drivers don't slow down is because there are no warning signs for them to use caution. There is not a single "Animal Crossing" sign near the lake, on either side! This petition is to post at least one "Animal Crossing" sign close to the lake. With the help of at least one sign, countless animal lives would be saved and it would ensure the safety of drivers.
