We, the undersigned concerned scientists and citizens, hereby petition the Federal Government of the United States of America to step into the BP Oil Gush in the Gulf Crisis Directly. We urge the Government to turn the crisis response planning over to NASA Scientists as an immediate task, and to ban BP Executives from any further attempts to dump chemicals or garbage into the gushing wells. Scientists, not corporate executives, need to be calling the shots and coming up with the crisis response plans and actions as the wells continue to pump oil into the Gulf.
