Atari: Remove SecuRom Copy Protection

* The SecuRom system has a reputation for causing problems for people with older systems.
* SecuRom stops legal users creating backups as allowed by End-user License Agreement.
* SecuRom is responsible for many problems that prevent paying customers from being able to start the game as seen at the following URL: http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?forum=49&topic=254422
To make matters worse Atari's technical support often blames errors caused by SecuRom copy protection on the customer's PC hardware and/or configuration. However, this is easily disproved by observing that those who have followed the advice given by Atari, continue the same problems (see the above url for details). As final proof, the problems can be easily fixed with a 3rd party hack that removes the SecuRom code, and restores the effected systems to perfect working order.
Copy protection does not stop unauthorized copying of the software, as hacks are readily available over the internet - yet it causes problems for paying customers and hinders their legal right to create a back-up of the software.
For these reasons we strongly urge Atari to remove the flawed SecuRom system, least we be forced to boycott the company, and the otherwise fine games you publish.
