Residents of Lexington County are petitioning for the City of West Columbia and Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission under the direction of Executive Director John Jay Criscoine (803-359-4048) to repair the tennis courts located on the 700 block of Augusta Street, West Columbia, South Carolina. The tennis communities and youth all over Lexington County frequently used these courts and desparately need these 2 courts back in operating condition.
Solution:
Please support the concerned citizens of Lexington County and the Midlands tennis community by signing this petition, and/or calling Executive Director John Jay Criscoine (803-359-4048), and/or emailing LCRAC at http://www.lcrac.com/contact.asp to enable citizens and youth of all ages to once again utilize the tennis courts located on Augusta Street, West Columbia, for recreational enjoyment. We oppose any current or pending plans to convert the closed tennis courts to a volleyball court or any other plans other than the original use and intent of the existing structures
