Awareness for AIDS, a Campaign for AIDS Prevention

We, the undersigned, ask for the full support from United States Congress to help us educate the youth about our cause, the prevention and eventual elimination of AIDs as a threat to society. There are over 25 million children that have been orphaned due to AIDS. Almost 600,000 of those orphans are located within underdeveloped countries, which have very little ability to provide aid. South Africa has the greatest concentration of HIV and AIDS patients, but luckily there are over 12,000 social workers whom work to fight back against this epidemic. We can fight back by following the UNAIDs three-method plan of decreasing risk of infection to slow spread of the disease, decreasing vulnerability to reduce the impact, and reducing risk to decrease vulnerability.

Diamond Bars New Global Citizens organization has been educating, equipping, and mobilizing students to address the situation at hand. However, there can never be enough volunteers or relief efforts for fighting a disease like AIDS. It can affect entire families and therefore we request that you join our efforts in providing information on AIDS and AIDS prevention.
