Dear Sir,

This not a petition to bring back an old show, but an eagerness to see a new show or project using a dearly loved character. We, the undersigned, feel the time is right for the return of Frank Black, as do his creators. We, the undersigned, support Chris Carter, Frank Spotniz and Lance Henriksen in their desire to see the lead character from Millennium and guest star on the X-Files, criminal profiler Frank Black, return.

Furthermore, we believe that Frank Black should return in a project that is not directly associated with Millennium, a TV series whose concept is no longer relevant to contemporary audiences. Frank Black is a character which has proven to play successfully in straight crime drama, horror or mythological fantasy. As such, we believe there is contextually definitive scope for the character with the popularity of such shows as CSI, Dexter and Medium. Frank Black could fall into any or all of such genres.

Also, with the original show's strong support with high DVD sales and a petition for its return of nearly 3000 signatures, we believe there is a tangible interest in Chris Carter's creation. We are not suggesting a particular medium, merely supporting Chris Carter, Frank Spotniz and Lance Henriksen's desire to bring Frank Black back.

With the entertainment demographic constantly widening beyond the interests of teenagers and young adults, we believe that Chris Carter is capable in returning a mature, intelligent and well-rendered character back to our screens in some form.
