PETITION TEXT
We the undersigned want all factory farming of chickens and pigs and all other animals in the US
and everywhere outlawed. We want to prevent animal suffering, human disease,
environmental desecration, energy waste.

VOINOVICH FLIES
120: no of gallons of production water for each egg
275: mg of cholesterol in each egg
32: hours a chicken is confined to a 3 ft cage with 5 companion for each produced egg
3 to 5: percent of eggs in the US produced in Ohio
CROTON OHIO
The Voinovich flies.. this is what they are called by folks on Croton, Ohio who must deal with the "Biblical plague of flies" * attracted to the millions of tons of chicken waste created by concentrated Auschwitzs
for chickens owned by Buckeye Egg Farm (renamed from Agrigeneral, whose owner Antol Pohlmann was forbidden to factory farm in Germany after maltreatment of poultry workers and animals..and the use of lethal
nicotine insecticides). He came to the US where George Voinovich,
then governor, now senator from Ohio gave him a red carpet.
Now these flies are called Taft Householder Finan DeWine Voinovich flies..
for these are the GOP in power who are doing virtually nothing about the situation.

Ohio Wesleyan biology students found toxic levels of salmonella
in streams around the several cities in Ohio with Buckeye operations.
Croton residents have gotten minimal action from the Ohio EPA
in regards to stench. The farm was fined a minuscule amount in relation
to their revenue.

Voinovich's red carpet was crimson from the blood of chickens.
900,000 perished last winter in a tornado. Some lived 9 days without
food or water. One animal rights worker says she saw Buckeye bulldozing
the final chickens alive into graves.
Maine's DeCoster, Maryland's Perdue, Arkansas's Tyson are also giant polluters.
Millions of chickens in Arkansas have died from suffocation, freezing, or
heat and thirst when the electricity in their metal sheds went out and they
boiled or froze to death. Some are crushed when roofs cave in.

Chickens jammed 6 to a 3 ft by 1 ft cage are never able to move their wings

HEALTH EFFECTS

eggs and chickens. 97\% of all food poisoning fatalities are caused
