This is in response to an organization titled M.A.H.R., short for Mother Against Hard Rock. This group has rallied for the banning of hard rock groups such as My Chemical Romance, The Used, Altreyu, etcetera from 45 states across the nation. This is clearly a violation of the first amendment of the United States.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."(1st Amendment, Constitution of the United States)
Through music, these groups are expressing their rights to the freedom of speech, and therefore no ban shall be made on their sales in ANY state in the U.S.
The point in this petition is to force the disbanding of the group titled "Mothers Against Hard Rock". The title itself indicates the mission of this group, which is to have banned the genre of music titled hard rock. By signing this petition, you/we are requesting that this group be disbanded and if they wish to reform, be forced to reform under a new, less offensive, title, that bears no violation to the 1st amendment.

For starters, MCR and the Used are far from hard rock. Secondly, you can't have them banned because it goes againt the first ammendment rights of 'freedom of speech' to ban something just because it sreams it rather than 'oh so politely' sing it. Furtherm
