Dear United States Olympic Committee:
There is a true definition of Olympic spirit. It was obvious in Apolo Anton Ohno during the 2006 Winter Games. It was apparent in Lindsey Kildow as she overcame injury to continue as a true athlete. It was easily seen in Sasha Cohen when she summoned the courage to continue skating after falling twice and losing hope for a gold medal. It was not, however, by any stretch of the imagination, seen in Bode Miller throughout the games. Miller's attitude, lack of class, and disrespect for the Olympic Games, the United States Olympic Team, and the United States as his nation were embarrassing. We, the undersigned, request that, for the good of the Olympics, the continued respect of the athletes, and the honor the US Team deserves, Bode Miller never be permitted to play for the United States Olympic Team again. Thank you for your consideration.
