Dear Mr. Jacobs and Bruins Management,
We the undersigned, as fans of the Bruins, would like to propose that the team jerseys be reverted back to the times of the Big Bad Bruins or changed from the current. This proposal includes the current third jersey that is despised by any true Bruins fan.
With the Bruins organization attempting to move on from past years in the cellar of the Eastern Conference back to the team that was a certainty for a solid playoff spot, we believe there could not be a better way to support the new expression "New Team, Now Attitude" than with a change in jerseys back to when the Bruins were loved and respected. The Bruins tradition has faltered over the past few seasons, something that should not be accepted by an Original Six Team. Let's go back to the years where the Bruins were feared around the league and the jerseys were worn on the back proudly by everyone on the roster and in the stands.
Until then, the undersigned will continue to wear the retro Bruins jerseys and refuse to purchase or support the current jerseys.
