Boycott of Electonric Arts

To whom it may concern at Electronic Arts,

This petition is being sent to inform the management of Electronic Arts that the signers of this petition will no longer support the company in any manner. Electronic Arts use of the marketplace on Xbox 360 to release games that have content held back for microtransactions is unacceptable and unethical. In addition to having to pay an extra ten to twenty dollars for the new generation of games, the consumer is no longer even receiving a full game. The signers of this petition have deemed this practice to be what amounts to a fleecing of the gaming consumer.

I hereby vow that until the marketplace is used in a manner that adds content to a finished game that I will no longer spend a single penny on anything made by Electronic Arts. The users of this petition will end their boycott of Electronic Arts once the company publicly states and follows thru on releasing full games with no content held back for sale at a later date. I urge Electronic Arts to listen to the people who have enabled the success of their company and to take appropriate action to correct the way in which EA sells their product to the consumer.
