Bring back the Clarke's burger!

PJ Clarkes, the NYC city INSTITUTION, that has served its famous burgers to the likes of Frank Sinatra, Jackie Kennedy, Liz Smith and Nat King Cole- who deemed their burger the "Cadillac of burgers", has changed their menu- including their world famous burger and fries. In an effort to "go green" and "buy local", Clarke's has replaced their juicy and delicious piece of ground up heaven on a no-frills bun with a less tasty, larger slab of unremarkable local beef on a haughty brioche bun.

In a city that has been overrun with hoity-toity burgers in recent years, Clarke's always stood out for its simple goodness. Any day of the week, any time of the day, one could be guaranteed a burger prepared to their perfection.

It's great to care for the environment and support local farmers, but there MUST be a way to do this without completely changing the burger and fries recipe. Times are uncertain enough- please don't take away one of the few things people can consistently count on: a delicious burger at Clarke's!
