Bring Back Traditional Animation at Disney

Recenty, The Walt Disney Company announced plans to close its Australia-based animation facility and officially declared that it would no longer be making any more traditional ("2D") animated films, except as sequels to the existing ones. We the undersigned believe that traditional animation is in no way inferior to 3D animation and that there is still a perfectly good-sized market for it. We believe that Disney should re-open a traditional animation facility either in the US or Australia and continue to make traditional animated films that are not sequels. Films like these are Disney's legacy and by refusing to make any more, Disney is devaluing the medium that got them where they are today.
