Bring Freedom To America

To United States Congress:




The following describes that we the people are outraged at new laws and acts being passed through government that directly remove some of the basic freedoms granted to the citizens by the United States Constitution. We urge you to relook the decisions that are being made and how they impact the freedoms of the United States Citizens.









Dear United States Citizens,




I would like to announce the goal of this petition to bring back freedom to those of the United States. As you may have noticed, certain peoples of the United States government have been invoking new laws and acts upon the citizens the directly take away freedoms that were guarenteed to us by the Constitution. One such act being the now famous and ever-growing "Patriot" act.









Here are a few issues directly brought up by the expanding Patriot Act:









"would be expanded to give the FBI new powers to demand documents from companies without a judge's approval"









"grant the FBI more power to seek information from banks, hospitals, libraries, and so on through "administrative subpoenas" without prior judicial oversight."









"the FBI may designate that the subpoenas are secret and punish disclosure of their existence with up to one year in prison"









These issues directly eliminate the checks and balances that our government system was created upon. It gives power to search and sieze, along with secretly subpoena, all without the checked approval of the Judicial branch of government. This is simply an outrage and needs to be stopped. Help bring back freedom to citizens of the United States and sign this petition.
