Dog fighting is a sick medieval so called sport which was made illegal in 1835! Yet in the 21st century this barbaric practice continues.
Dogs are vigorously trained and forced to fight till death or till one dog quits, fights often last over 45 minutes and without a break. The dog that wins is given immediate medical care. However the dog that quits (although so loyal that they have just given everything and fought to near death for their owner) is then electrocuted as the dog is often beyond repair and no use without its ‘unbeaten’ status.
The pain and suffering these dogs and the bait dogs (the dogs used as bait to train the fighting dogs) endue is absolutely horrific.
Please help us get as many people as we can to join this group so we can call upon the government to bring in tougher sentances for the people involved in this sick business.
The reason this underground illegal activity continues is because the sentances and charges are so light that people are willing to risk it. The only way to stop this is with tougher sentances.
These people are twisted and if they did to humans what they do to these dogs they would face life in prison. People who enjoy the suffering of animals are not right in the head. Which ever way you look at it:
Cruelty is cruelty, abuse is abuse and a life is a life! So why should the sentances differ??
As the intelligent race on the planet, let’s use our intelligence for something good and put a stop to this.
