For two years, fans of The West Wing have observed the wonderful relationship between Deputy Chief of Staff Joshua Lyman and his assistant Donnatella Moss. These two characters have built up a history, and their banter is both friendly and flirty at the same time. No other show on TV has a relationship with such a wonderful dynamic, full of just the right amount of romantic tension.
However, this season the Josh/Donna relationship is slowly being destroyed. Both Josh and Donna are pairing off with people who seem to be completely wrong for them, and have become increasingly mean to each other. The wonderful relationship that Josh and Donna once had seems to be dissolving.
Josh and Donna represent a true friendship, and an absolute loyalty. Amy Gardner would not have taken care of Josh after the shooting the way Donna did, and if Donna was in an accident, Cliff Calley might stop for a beer.
The relationship between Josh and Donna is part of what makes The West Wing such a wonderful show. Their understanding of one another, and their willingness to tolerate each others imperfections is proof that a real friendship can exist even in an environment as cutthroat as the DC Political Scene.
Please, bring the Josh and Donna relationship back to the halls of the White House again. The show isnt the same without their playful banter ringing through the halls of the West Wing.

Please let Josh and Donna get together in Season 4!!! They are so cute together, and it is obvious that they are meant for one another. Please, for the sanity of all the viewers including myself, let them get together!!!
