Bring the Foo Fighters to PJ20

Dave Grohl, lead singer of the Foo Fighters and drummer for one of the original grunge bands (Nirvana) has had a long and friendly relationship with the members of Pearl Jam. Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters have played together before, at the Bridge School Benefit, at the VH1 Rock Honors for the Who, and most recently, the Foos joined Eddie on stage with Mike Watt's band in Seattle.
With the release of "Wasting Light", many Pearl Jam fans have experienced a new appreciation for the Foo Fighters, or a resurgence in their love for this band. The Foos will be touring in the fall, however, they haven't booked any shows for the weekend of September 3rd, when PJ20 will take place in Alpine Valley. How convenient!!
Although Pearl Jam has stated that "special guests and friends of the band" will be included in the lineup, the Foos haven't been announced, but only mentioned in the dream lineup whispered about (fine, openly griped about) in the halls of Pearl Jam fandom.
As one of the best rock bands today, and Pearl Jam comrades for the last two decades, the incredible Foo Fighters need to be included in the celebration at Alpine Valley in order for the experience of this weekend to be complete.
PLEASE sign this petition to bring the Foo Fighters to Pearl Jam's twentieth anniversary celebration.
