This fall, MoveonPAC and America Coming Together are sponsoring the Vote for Change tour, a series or concert tours across the country aimed at voter registration and encouraging educated voting among young people. VFC will put on 40 shows in 30 cites.
Raleigh, NC and the Triangle area is home to more than 2 million people, 3 research extensive universities - NC State, Duke and UNC Chapel Hill - as well as NC Central University, Shaw, St. Augustines, Peace, Meredith, Campbell, and many other colleges and universities within an hours drive. And yet this area is not among the battlegrounds chosen by Vote for Change as locations for their concert events.
This petition is to let Vote for Change know how successful an event in the Triangle area would be, as it is home to more than 100,000 students.
