Absolutely appalling, considering the VC stated a couple of years ago that she would try not to increase any HECS fees, despite the fact that the current government is gutting the whole of Australia and particularly the tertiary eductation system

A Uni education is expensive enough without extra being charged in HECS. If you charge lower HECS you may actually get more students. Charles Sturt isn't increasing their HECS.
