Car underbody neons

We all know the reason authorirties do not permit underbody neon lights turned on while driving. For those who don't there are two main reasons:

1. Distraction for other road uses

2. Some neons supposedly make the vehicle look like it is an emergency vehicle

First of all if cars with underbody neons are a distraction well then may be there should be no police strobes or sirens (police sirens have made me jump on the road, but im sure a car with neon lighting would not make anyone jump). For people who would think a car with neon lighting is an emergancy vehicle, well how safe would you feel with these people sharing the road with you, they might mistake the red light for a green light. If you have seen vehicles with neon lighting you will know that these vehicles do not decrease safety. If you are thinking that neons are unsafe because they catch your attention then may be there should be no sport cars or "head-turner" cars.

Neon lighting are just a new revolution of car modification. We can buy them anywhere (your local autobarn) but it is illegal to have them on while driving. Please sign the petition and pass it on to all the people you know.
