I am writing to request that you seriously consider casting Tom Hardy as Gambit in your X-Men3 production.
Tom has an incredible screen presence and the right look for Gambit. He is tall, has expressive eyes and a mouth women can't take their eyes off of. He has a deep sensuous voice that will be the perfect vehicle for Remy's Cajun drawl. Besides the look of Gambit, Tom's mischievous "street smart" personality is perfect for bringing Gambit to life.
Far greater than Tom's physicality and personality, your production company would be hiring an actor with incredible talent and an established success at bringing complex characters to screen. As you can see from Tom's filmography, Tom created a multi-layered villain in Baird's Star Trek Nemesis, a heartbreaking doomed WWII soldier in the Spielberg/Hanks masterpiece Band of Brothers and a new American hero in Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down. Tom definitely has the acting chops to give you an X-Man that will have everyone buzzing nonstop.

Throughout my life, Gambit has always been my favorite X-men character. The very first time I saw Tom Hardy in a movie I thought, "That boy is Gambit." He is. Or should be.
