CBS Please Reconsider Cancelling the Agency

We the undersigned have the following grievances with CBS network and its CEO Les Moonves. We are very upset about the cancellation of The Agency. One of the quotes from the series The Agency is Information is the ultimate weapon. We feel this decision was not made with all the necessary information. You have cancelled our show and kept Hack. We have several places which show that the viewers, the fans, the people CBS should be concerned with were ignored.

1. USA Today poll has the shows that should be renewed The Agency was 9 out of 19. Hack did not receive as many votes. Yet it appears as though you are ignoring the fans. When asked which series should be cancelled The Agency was ranked 16 out of 19. The people want this show back. We do not want Hack back.

2. You are taking off the #1 current drama voted by fans on rateitall.com, which receives an average of 4.05 out of 5 stars (ER is in 2nd with 3.70) for Hack which is #62 only receiving a 2.71 out of 5 stars.

3. CBS has failed to promote this show as they should have. Ads for this show were few and far between. The ads were not exciting, and really did not draw viewers. One of the best ads of the season was for the show Thanksgiving. This show was one of the best rated for the season. What did CBS do the following week they showed it on Friday and put another show in its place. When the people who enjoyed the Thanksgiving episode tuned in the following week it wasnt there, they had missed the episode. This truly hurt the show.

4. The Futon Critic had its annual write in campaign to save shows. Hack received 92 letters. The Agency received 631 letters, making it the second on the list. The Agency received almost 7 times as many letters than Hack. Yet Hack gets another season and The Agency is cancelled.

5. Savemyshow.com results - The Agency received 10,835 votes to renew. Hack 453.

6. It is also our understanding that we are being left with a cliffhanger. This is just more proof that CBS cares nothing for its viewers. If you were going to cancel, you should
have given enough notice so the show could end with closure for the fans. If this is true I know that I can never truly allow myself to become a fan of anything CBS shows. They do not care about the fans

What we are asking is that CBS look at these facts again and reconsider their decision on The Agency. We would like to see it back in the fall for a full season, or give it 13 episodes and see what happens. Use Hack as a mid season replacement if The Agency doesnt work out. Or at least as a mid season replacement. If neither is possible we want a movie to wrap up loose ends. In any case we would ask that the show be given an equal amount of advertising as your pet shows, to give it a fair chance this time.
