We the undersigned believe that the current "Monaca-Rochester"/"Rochester-Monaca" bridge should continue to carry the names that it has held in the past. While there appears to be propositions to chance the name to such things as "Friendship Bridge", we do not believe such a change is justified. The undersigned believe that the only names that the bridge should bear is either "Monaca-Rochester","Rochester-Monaca", or both. In a area where tradition and history are prevalent in everyday lives, it is not justified or necessary to erase decades of such. By signing this petition we agree that our electronic signature is just as valid as a physical signature.

Because we are merging, it's like the town of Monaca doesn't exist anymore! It should remain the same as it is. Monaca beat Rochester, so it should remian Monaca-Rochester Bridge.
