Choral Auditions

We, the members of Silverdale Baptist Academys Choral Arts Department, petition that in all future years, in order to gain entry to choir class and/or choir club, one must pass a solo vocal audition. In said audition, the individual will be judged acceptance or denial to choir class and/or choir club based on the compulsory standard of their vocal skill/talent. We recognize that there are anonymous individuals within both choir class and choir club that do not meet a general criterial singing standard. We address this as a present problem as we see that the overall excellence of the choir(s) is/are being restrained and the choral experience of the Choral Arts Department's members is being impeded.
