We, fans of the Middle Earth and of the cinematic adaptation of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy by Peter Jackson, ask your company, by this petition, to reconsider your decision not to allow Peter Jackson to produce "The Hobbit" by J.R.R Tolkien.

As a matter of fact, even if this adaptation is still a project, M. Jackson has let know that your company wouldnt resort to his team, following a disagreement on the management of the by-products of the "The Fellowship of the Ring" movie.

Peter Jackson proved us, via the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy that he was the best director possible for the direction of this new film and we believe that nobody else could reproduce the atmosphere which is so particular to J.R.R Tolkien.

We thank you in advance for paying attention to our request and we hope you will remain attentive to the opinion of the fans from all over the world.
