Coventry City appeal to the FA

We, the undersigned, would like to take his opportunity to lodge a complaint concerning the inconsistencies following the rejection of Coventry City FC's appeal for their first 3 fixtures to be away games following the news that the new Ricoh Arena will not be ready until 20th August 2005.
As you will be already aware the delay is the not the responsibility of Coventry City FC but that of the Arena Coventry company who own and are responsible for the construction and running of the complex. The delay would not have been an issue if it were not for the mindless vandalism of youths who set fire to piles of new seating on site, causing damage to the structure.
We find it amazing that the appeal has been rejected as it is common knowledge that both Bolton Wanderers and Stoke City BOTH were granted this request after their respective stadia were not ready in time. Now considering that BOTH these clubs actually owned the stadia and were responsible for it's construction timetable, we find it unbelievable that they were granted and Coventry City have not.
Therefore we ask that you reconsider your initial decision and arrange for Coventry City FC's first three games in the 2005/2006 season to be away from home.
