On January 25th 2006, there were held a free and fair election on the new Palestinian Legiskative Council. The Hamas block won 76 out of 132 seats.
The new government was based on this majority. Thereafter it was boycotted by the western part of the international community. 1st the underwriters find this boycott abonimable, since nobody could raise claims against the election procedure.
Then the Israeli authorities started kidnapping the Hamas lawmakers and government members. This started on June 30th after the capture of an Israeli corporal by the Palestinian resistance.
Today more than 30 Hamas lawmakers with Dr.Aziz Duwaik, the Palestinian Legislative Councils speaker: In rank the highest exept the president.
There is also about 6 government members inprisoned. We demand the immidiate release of all of them!
