As people say, all good things come to an end, so should be dada's test career, I see there are just about few runs for him to get 5000 in tests or he is few tests short of playing his 100th, but then I do not want to remember the struggling dada, for me all the memories are confined to an young Bengali coming down the track and lofting the spinners over and above the stadium roofs, making room on the pacers and hoicking them over point for gladiatorial sixes, or the captain who had a dream, a dream for India, a dream which yielded the current generations of cricketers. The bhajjis, sehwags and yuvis will testify for the same. But today, a dada fanatic, appeals the masses to request him to stand down from the test team, for the sake of the people, for the sake of the nation and for the sake of himself.
