We, the undersigned, cherish Roller Derby because, among other things, its Do It Yourself ethos cultivates diverse communities of women committed to advancing the sport on our own terms.
While we are committed to the promotion and enjoyment of Roller Derby by as many people as possible, we feel the coverage of our wonderful, life-changing, life-affirming sport by a corporation such as Sky Sports would ultimately suck all the vital life-blood from what we hold so dear.
