Democrats for Peace to John Kerry

We, the undersigned Democrats and/or contributors to the John Kerry for President campaign, do hereby make conditional any further support or our vote for Sen. Kerry on his recantation of support for this illegal, immoral, unjust war on Iraq and further demand, in exchange for our votes and campaign support that he call for an immediate ceasefire, and negotiations with the UN to replace US troops with UN troops to stabilize the country in advance of free elections to be administered by the UN.

If our demands for peace are not met, we WILL vote for a peace candidate, such as Nader or Cobb. 51\% of the electorate feels this war was a mistake. 76\% of Democrats do. If you lose this election you will only have yourself to blame, Mr. Kerry. Are your military/industrial/media corporate masters strings so taut you cannot move? There is NO more crucial issue in this election, and you give those of us for peace no choice but war. Give us liberty from this evil war, or give us death. How do you ask someone to be the last to die for a lie, John?
