Deny Nancy Pelosi Communion

Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi is at the heart of what is wrong with the Catholic Church leadership today. As of today, January 26, 2008 her latest assault on our beliefs has gone too far. Today her newest stab hits Catholics all over America, and all over the world. Madam Speaker boldly defended a move to add birth control funding (and abortion) to the new economic "stimulus" package, claiming "contraception will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government. This comes on the heels of her controversial statement during the presidential campaign over the question of when life beings that "...the doctors of the church have not been able to make that definition. And SenatorSt. Augustine said at three months."

When such public figures in our church undermine the core Catechism beliefs, Father, it shakes the core of all who believe and all who try their best to follow the teachings of the Church. We cannot idly stand by when she calls for the expansion of the abortion industry while being allowed to call herself a "an ardent, practicing Catholic."



We ask you Archbishop Niederauer to please deny the speaker communion in your diocese until the speaker has publicly denounced Abortion and has gone thru the reconciliation process in apology to the Lord and the public for what she has supported.
