Over the years many different Canadian governments have promised Senate reform. The current Harper government has promised an elected Senate but has yet to make good on this promise. Stephen Harper plans to appoint several new Conservative Senators in 2010 and none of these senators will have been elected by the public.
By adding my name and signing the petition I have cast my vote for Jeff Seeton.
