End HD DVD and With it the Format War

Dear Universal, Paramount, Dreamworks, Toshiba, and Microsoft,

For a few years now, the war between HD DVD and Blu-ray has been at a stalemate. Recently, however, it has begun to tip in Blu-ray's favor not only in sales, but in studio/company support as well. This cannot be denied. As consumers who are tired of this war and just want one side to win so that we may start our Hi-Def movie collections, we believe that the rise in Blu-ray's popularity and its many triumphs over HD DVD have led to the beginning of the end.

So please, instead of prolonging the inevitable, help yourselves, and help the industry by giving up the dying format so that the everyone can get on with their lives.
