We, the undersigned, demand that political candidates now and in the future end the practice of negative campaign advertising.
As voters, we expect candidates to tell us why we should vote for them, not why we should vote against their opponent.
Negative advertising insults our intelligence, exhausts us emotionally, pollutes the airwaves, and embarrasses the United States. We are not stupid. We see through this despicable tactic, and in the end, it loses a candidate more votes than it gains.
We demand that our candidates start taking the high road. If you deserve our vote, we deserve better!
